"To celebrate their 20-year career Le Vent du Nord presents Les Voix du vent avec cordes et piano, a trip through their back catalogue with fresh arrangements, designed to create a blissful fusion between traditional folk music and classical music. Taking one song from each of their studio albums, bandleader Olivier Demers penned string arrangements for eleven pieces and teamed up with award-winning pianist Philippe Prud'homme for the piano arrangements. In the studio Le Vent du Nord brought in renowned string quartet Quatuor Trad while Philippe provided the classical piano, and then found that with these esteemed musicians, the songs worked best with members of Le Vent du Nord adding only vocals and foot-percussion.
