An extraordinarily prolific composer of music for anime and video games, Japanese musician Michiru Oshima provided the soundtrack to 2000's kaiju film Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. While two musical cues are based on pieces by the great composer Akira Ifukube, Oshima's scores are grim, low frequency rumbles that unsettle and terrify.
