The police seem to have been expecting him and already know him. Frank begins to have a flashback, recalling that he had decided to take an over-due holiday from his job as an accountant. After a night on the town in San Francisco, Frank wakes up not feeling well. Doctors confirm that he has been poisoned with a toxin. With only a few days left to live, Frank sets out on a frenzied quest to find who has murdered him and why. Frank recalls being at a nightclub and his drink tasting strangely. Unnoticed by Frank, a stranger has swapped drinks with him. But why? Pamela Britton (Paula Gibson) Frank's fiancée, provides the first clue. A man named Eugene Phillips, had been urgently trying to contact Bigelow just before Phillips suddenly dies. This is a really great 'Who Done It' film. A real classic! (80 minutes - 1950 - B/W - 4:3).
