About the Author
Mr. Clarke's parents were both renowned artists. His father was a famous watercolor artist who won the Boston of Fine Arts Watercolor in 1956 and his mother was a clasisical writer. Mr. Clarke hopes to accomplish in this novela an excitement in the reader which will make them not want to put the book down until they have finished reading it.
Mr. Clarke was born in Marblehead MASS. Financial difficulties in the family cause them to move to California in 1962. This also lead Mr. Clarke's broad understanding about civil rights and experiences in the entire country.
