He built up a big reputation in London as a percussionist with the bands of Roy Fox, Ralph Sharon, Ted Heath and Jack Parnell. It was the latter who encouraged Victor to also develop his piano skills, which in turn led to him becoming a world class vibraphonist. After becoming established, Victor emigrated to the U.S.A., working with many top acts including Woody Herman and the Cannonball Adderley band. These recordings were made live at the original Ronnie Scott Club in London in 1965 and feature Victor playing piano and vibes.
