Starting out as anti-slavery activists, Darcy uses the Jayhawkers origin to support his growing power. Opposing his unscrupulous bid for control of the region is Cam (Fess Parker, TVs DAVY CROCKET), an ex-convict who knows that Darcy was responsible for the death of his wife while he was in prison.
