Blues, Good Time, Louisiana Red, Louisiana Red and Carey BellIverson Minter (a.k.a. Louisiana Red) liked his music like he liked his food, straight from the heart, close to home and served up as hot and spicy as could be. Recorded at A-I Sound Studios in New York between 1965 and 1973 and produced by legendary music producer and Atlantic Records co-founder Herb Abramson, this nearly ten year recording project is said by Herb to 'reveal a superlative blues singer and guitarist in his prime'. Building on his solid base of flavors, heritage, and influence as all good dishes do, and sprinkled with some improvisations to taste, Red brings the sauce on red-hot hit after red-hot hit including 'Trouble All My Days', 'Sometimes I Wonder' and 'Gonna Move on Down the Line'.
