Sam is the only survivor of the shipwreck, where the people are as small as peanuts. Unaware of the shipwreck, King Little is busy arranging the marriage of his daughter, Princess Glory (Jessica Dragonette) to Prince David (Lanny Ross), who is the son of neighboring King Bombo. King Bombo becomes angered when King Little refuses to agree upon the wedding song. Bombo declares war just as the villagers discover the giant Gulliver lying on the beach. Hundreds of artists worked on the production, which was considered to be a landmark in the art of animation, being only the second full-length color animated feature ever produced. This is a wonderful tale of 18th century romance and adventure where Gulliver helps to prevent war breaking out between the two kingdoms of Lilliput and Blefuscu. How Gulliver works to prevent war breaking out between the two kingdoms is quite innovative, but you must watch this marvellous film to see for yourself ! (74 minutes - 1939 - Color - 4:3).
