Fat Cat, Indie Rock/Pop, Laura McFarlane, Mark Devine, Paul Savage, The Twilight Sad, Twilight SadThe Twilight Sad unleash their highly anticipated sophomore album, 'Forget the Night Ahead'. 'Forget the Night Ahead' has been produced by guitarist Andy MacFarlane, with the assistance of Paul Savage (THE DELAGADOS) at Scotland's legendary Chem19 Studios. Each of the eleven tracks delivers expertly articulate, brooding songwriting and a brilliant meshing of increased pop sensibility with devastating guitar noise. The album features the violin work of MY LATEST NOVEL's Laura McFarlane, and the band have recently recruited fifth member Martin Docherty (formerly of AEREOGRAMME) for additional live keyboards and guitars. Andy McFarlane's distinctive tremelo'd guitar creates startling shifts between melancholy introspective and explosive tension, the cacophony broadening to accommodate the band's most melodic and also thrillingly discordant moments yet.
