Elle -- Jennifer Davenport, Paperback
Elle, short for Eleanor, is a certified therapy dog. Every morning, Elle goes to work at the Abbott House, an advocacy center. It is a special place where adults make sure children are safe and healthy. Elle's job is to comfort children who might be frightened or nervous.
Elle loves her job. She gets very excited when her handler picks her up each day and dresses Elle in a cool vest. Elle gets to play with the children at the advocacy center and snuggle with them and make them feel safe. And when Elle returns home after a long day at the Abbott House, she has her own family of humans who love her and take care of her.
