He's a playwright, screenwriter, Emmy Award-winning journalist, and former assistant to actress Carrie Fisher. He's originally from New Orleans and lives in Palm Springs, California, with his husband, author Steven Rowley, and their rescue dogs, Raindrop and Shirley.
