Anxiety disorders are the most common psychiatric condition in youth. The lifetime prevalence rate for any anxiety disorder in adolescents is 31.9%, with an age onset of around 6 years of age. In 2020, according to the CDC, 9.5% of children were diagnosed with anxiety, with 59.3% receiving treatment.
